Fans of the Lego movie are in for a treat - a Master Builder has arrived in Dublin
Nathan Sawaya brings his lego exhibition The Art of The Brick to the Ambassador Theatre which opens today.
It promises to be a fun day out for all the family and runs until the 22nd of June.
According to Lego:
"Master Builders are the highly-trained and super-creative builders who design all of the official LEGO sets. Other LEGO Master Builders create giant, detailed sculptures out of LEGO bricks for LEGOLAND Parks and special events all around the world.
It takes years of practice to become a LEGO Master Builder. They know all kinds of special tricks for building strong and good-looking LEGO models…and with LEGO Master Builder Academy, for the first time, they’re sharing those tips and techniques with LEGO fans!"
Nathan trained as a lawyer before becoming an artist, he's since achieved the status of Master Builder
Nathan's sculptures and paintings are made out more than one million lego bricks. You can see these and more at the Ambassador Theatre from today until the 22nd of June.
