An investigation has been launched after the body of a man was discovered in Dublin city centre.
Gardaí were alerted to the discovery of a body at a residential property at Viking Harbour on the South Quays yesterday afternoon.
A man, who was in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
In a statement, a garda spokesperson said; "Gardaí were alerted to the discovery of a body at a residential property at Viking Harbour, South Quays, Dublin 8 yesterday afternoon Monday 21st April, 2025.
A male aged in his 30s was pronounced deceased at the scene.
His body has been removed to the mortuary where a post mortem examination is due to take place. The results of the post mortem will determine the course of the investigation."
