A man who admits raping two young girls who went missing from a birthday party is to be sentenced at the Central Criminal Court.
The crimes happened in Athlone on September 28th last year.
The man who is 30 has pleaded guilty to five charges of raping the girls at a house.
The alarm was raised when the girls, aged 6 and 9, went missing from a birthday party nearby.
The defendant is from the Midlands. He has not been named for legal reasons.
He is due to be sentenced at the Central Criminal Court later this morning
