Gardai have arrested a man after this morning's fatal stabbing in Shankill.
The suspect, who's in his early thirties, was picked up following the incident which also left a second man seriously injured in hospital.
Two men in their 20s were found with serious stab wounds at Rathsallagh Park in Shankill, South Dublin at approximately 5:30am this morning.
They were taken by ambulance to St. Vincent's Hospital, where one of the men was pronounced dead shortly after 8am.
The second man remains in a serious condition in hospital.
Gardaí are appealing for information.
The suspect who was arrested today is being detained at Shankill Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act where he can be held for up to 24 hours.
