Gardai in Crumlin are investigating a shooting in Drimnagh overnight.
A 21 year old man was shot as he was walking in Slieve Bloom Park in the early hours of this morning.
This incident happen at ten past 5 as two men were walking in the area.
The victim was shot once in the leg while his friend fled the scene.
He was found lying on the ground and taken to St James hospital where his injuries are described as not life threatening.
The scene has been cordoned off pending a technical examination.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses.
