A man was seriously injured in a reported machete attack in north Dublin yesterday afternoon.
Gardaí say they attended the scene at Poppintree Parade in Ballymun at around 1pm. A man in his late teens was taken to the Mater Hospital with serious injuries.
According to the Herald, the victim was attacked with a large knife before he was helped by staff at a nearby shop.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
