A man remains in garda custody today after €140,000 of heroin was seized in the city.
At around 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon, plainclothes officers noticed four people acting suspiciously in a vehicle.
It was stopped in the Arbour Hill area, with the four fleeing the scene on foot.
After a search of the vehicle, the heroin was found in a bag.
A man in his 20's was subsequently arrested.
He's being held at Store Street Garda Station under Section two of the Drugs Trafficking Act.
Investigations are ongoing.
