A man who gave his friend a gun used to paralyse a woman in front of her daughter, who was cowering under the kitchen table, has been jailed for nine-and-a-half years.
Sinead Connolly was left paralysed from the chest down when her next-door neighbour kicked in her door and opened fire.
In April, Dean McCarthy, of Bernard Curtis House, Bluebell Road, Dublin 12, was jailed for 15 years for her attempted murder.
Joseph Byrne, with an address at La Touche Road in Bluebell, was jailed today for firearms offences.
