A man in his forties is in a serious condition after an assault in Dublin city centre late last night.
He was attacked on Cork Street just after midnight and rushed to James Street Hospital where he remains.
Gardaí have confirmed that a 20 year old man was arrested a short time later and is being held at Kevin Street Garda Station.
