A 31 year old man remains in a critical condition in hospital, after he was shot outside a creche in Dublin yesterday morning
He'd been dropping his son off at around ten past nine when he was shot once in the face by a masked gunman.
Gardai revealed the victim is a well-known criminal who has previously been linked with the Real IRA.
This isn't the first time he's been shot - in January of last year, he was shot in the leg at a housing estate in south Dublin.
