A man in his thirties was killed in a crash in Dublin yesterday evening.
The collision, which involved a car and motorbike, happened in Ballycoolin, Dublin 15 at around 5pm.
The driver of the motorbike, a man in his 30s was killed and his body was taken to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown.
A post mortem examination is due to take place.
The driver of the car was treated at the scene by emergency services.
Gardaí temporarily closed the Mitchelstown Road for a short period to carry out a forensic examination.
They are appealing for witnesses to come forward, particularly those with camera footage such as dash cam.
