A man in his 60s has been stabbed to death in Limerick.
At around 2 o' clock this morning, Gardai were called to the apartment on Dock Road, following a report that a man in his 60's had been stabbed.
The man was brought to University Hospital Limerick where he was later pronounced dead.
The scene is currently preserved for a technical examination and the office of the State Pathologist has been notified.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses or to anyone who can assist with the investigation to contact them.
