A 27 year old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of Gerard Donnelly, who was found burned to death in the Phoenix Park.
Ciaran Moran, last living in Camden Hall on Camden Street has been remanded in custody, to re-appear in court next week
He had a visible head wound as he appeared in court this morning wearing black tracksuit bottoms and a grey sweatshirt.
The court was told that the 27 year old made no reply when the murder charge was put to him just before midnight last night.
He's accused of killing Gerry Donnelly on or about last Friday at Wellington Road in the Phoenix Park.
Ciaran Moran's defence solicitor applied for legal aid and requested that he keeps getting medical attention while he's in custody.
The judge agreed and he’s been remanded for a week, when he'll reappear before Cloverhill District Court.
Meanwhile Gardai are continuing to question a 20 year old man and a 17 year old girl in connection with the murder.
The 20 year old was picked up in Finglas yesterday, while the teen was detained late last night.
Both suspects can be held for up to 24 hours, before they must be charged or released.
