A man has appeared in court charged with the robbery of a pharmacy in Santry, north Dublin.
It happened at about 11 o'clock yesterday morning when a man walked into a chemist's on Lorcan Avenue, threatened staff and left with cash.
He fled the scene in a waiting car.
Gardaí arrested a man in his late forties during follow-up searches, who was brought to Dublin District Criminal Court this morning.
