Gardaí are investigating after an assault that left a man in a serious condition in hospital.
The man in his thirties was taken to Tallaght Univeristy Hospital for treatment of serious injuries after the incident which happened at Killinarden Heights, in Tallaght, at around 12 o'clock on Sunday afternoon.
No arrests have been made and Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
Anyone who was in the vicinity of Killinarden Heights or the Cushlawn Estate from 11.30am to 12.30pm on Sunday, or who may have dash cam footage of the incident, is asked to contact Gardaí.
