Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a man was found in Finglas with serious head injuries last night.
Emergency services were called to a green area beside Mellowes Avenue in Dublin 11 shortly before 8pm by a person who reported finding the man there with serious injuries.
He remains in a critical condition in Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown.
Gardai are appealing for anyone who was in the Mellowes Avenue, Mellowes Road, Kildondan Road or Cardiffsbridge Road area between 7.30 and 8pm to contact them.
