A man found with serious head injuries last week has died.
A passerby found the 26 year old near Mellowes Avenue in Finglas last Thursday night.
He was taken to hospital in a critical condition, and died from his injuries today.
Gardai say a post mortem will be carried out tomorrow, and the results will determine the course of the investigation into the as yet unexplained injuries.
Officers have renewed their appeal for anyone who was in the area to come forward.
