Gardai have launched an appeal for witnesses after a man in his 60s was found in a critical condition in Swords.
He was discovered at about 2.30 yesterday afternoon.
The man was found with serious injuries on a walkway beside the Malahide Road Roundabout.
He's been taken to Beaumont Hospital for treatment where he remains in a critical condition.
Gardai have asked anyone who was in the area between 1pm and 2pm yesterday to come forward.
They're also keen to see any video or dash cam footage from that part of Swords.
A garda spokesperson says: "Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following the discovery of a man with serious injuries in Swords yesterday, Tuesday 14th February 2023.
"At approximately 2:30pm, a man in his 60s was discovered with serious injuries on a walkway off the R132 beside the Malahide Road roundabout, Swords Co. Dublin.
"He was taken to Beaumont Hospital where his condition is understood to be critical.
"Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area between 1pm and 2pm to come forward.
"They are also appealing to those with camera footage, including motorists with dash cam, from the area at this time, to make it available to them.
