A man's been charged in connection with a serious assault outside a pub in west Dublin over the weekend.
This alleged attack happened at the entrance to a car park on the Clonsilla Road on Sunday night.
Shortly after 11pm emergency services responded to reports of an incident.
A man in his 40s suffered serious injuries and was taken to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown in a critical condition.
As part of the investigation, a man in his 20s was arrested. He's due before Blanchardstown District Court this morning.
