One of eight men charged in connection with a multi-million euro drugs bust at various locations across Dublin and Meath is due in court today.
Jason Hughes of Castlefield Park, Clonsilla was arrested last Thursday as part of a major intelligence led Garda operation.
Last Thursday morning, officers from the Garda National Drugs Unit swopped on a number of cars and vans across Dublin and Meath.
An industrial unit in Navan was also raided.
Cocaine, cannabis and ecstasy tablets, worth over €5m, was seized as well as five pistols and a Russian machine pistol.
Jason Hughes was one of eight men arrested and subsequently charge with various drug dealing offences.
The 31-year-old was remanded in custody with consent to bail and is due before Cloverhill District Court this morning.
