A man has been arrested following the death of another man in a crash on the N7 overnight.
The collision occurred on the Naas Road at around 12:20am, when a man, age din his twenties, was getting out of a car, and was struck by a second car.
The body of the man has since been removed to Dublin City Mortuary.
The driver of the first car, and a passenger in the second car, both also aged in their twenties, were taken to Tallaght and Saint James Hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
Forensic investigators have been on the scene, and the road has since reopened.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
This brings the total number of road deaths so far this year to 166.
