Investigations are continuing following a fatal road collision in county Limerick this morning.
It happened on the Askeaton side of Kildimo at approximately 1am.
It's believed a 31-year-old man fell out the rear door of a car travelling on the N69 and it's understood he was then struck by a second vehicle.
He was pronounced dead and his body has been removed from the scene.
Gardai have carried out a technical examination and the road has since re-opened.
Gardai are appealing for information to help find the car the man fell from.
Anyone who noticed a 99 WH registered light blue car, possibly a Toyota Avensis or a BMW to contact them.
