A man in his 20s has been charged in relation to the stabbings in Stoneybatter over the weekend.
Three men aged in their 20s and 40s were injured during the attack which happened on Sunday afternoon in broad daylight.
Both unarmed gardaí and armed officers raced to the scene.
Two of the men had serious but non-life-threatening wounds, while the third had less serious injuries.
Gardaí believe the attack was random and no one else was involved. Garda patrols were increased in the area in the wake of the attack.
A man in his 20s was intercepted and detained close to the scene by an unarmed Garda. He has now been charged and is due in court this morning.
