A man has been arrested as Gardaí investigate a member of GSOC attending a party alongside Gerry Hutch.
He's being held at a Garda Station in the east of the country.
The party in question was held in the capital on Monday night of last week.
Earlier that day, Gerry Hutch was acquitted of the murder of David Byrne at the Regency Hotel in 2016.
It was later revealed a senior investigator with the Garda watchdog admitted attending a party that the 'The Monk' was at.
He resigned from his position at GSOC when informed he was to be suspended.
This morning, a man in his 60s was arrested, and a house in Dublin 3 was searched.
He's currently being detained at a Garda Station in the east of the country where he can be held for 24 hours.
