A man in his 20s has been arrested in connection with a fatal hit and run last month.
A woman in her 60s died following the collision on the Phibsborough Road on the 4th of October.
Gardaí from Mountjoy Station arrested a man today and he's being questioned at a garda station in Dublin.
A garda spokesperson says: "Gardaí in Mountjoy Garda Station have arrested a man in relation to the investigation into a fatal road traffic collision that occurred on Wednesday, 4th October 2023 at Cross Guns Bridge on the Phibsborough Road, Dublin 7.
"The man (aged in his 20s) was arrested today, Thursday 2nd November 2023, and is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda station in Dublin.
"Investigations are ongoing."
