A man in his 40s has been arrested following a stabbing incident in Dublin.
Gardaí are investigating the alleged assault which took place at a house on the North Circular Road at around 10.25pm last night.
A man in his 30s received a number of stab wounds to his abdomen and head and was taken to the Mater Hospital.
His injuries are described as non-life-threatening.
A man in his 40s was arrested at the scene by Gardaí and is currently detained at Store Street Garda Station.
Gardaí say their investigations are ongoing.
