A man in his 20s has been arrested in connection with drug related intimidation in north Dublin.
He was detained under organised crime legislation on Tuesday and later charged.
The investigation is part of Operation Fógra and relates to suspected incidents of drug related intimidation committed between 2022 and last year.
The man is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice this morning.
A garda spokesperson says; "As part of ongoing investigations into drug related intimidation in the North Dublin region, Gardaí in the DMR North arrested one man on Tuesday, 13th February 2024.
"This investigation is part of Operation Fógra and relates to suspected incidents of drug related intimidation committed between 2022 and 2023.
"The man (aged in his 20s) was arrested under organised crime legislation and detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007, at a Garda station in North Dublin.
He has since been charged and is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice (Court 4) this morning, Thursday 15th February 2024 at 10.30am."
