A man will appear in court this morning, following an assault on a woman in Tallaght on Monday.
The woman - in her 30s - sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Gardaí searched a home in Tallaght on Wednesday, regarding the incident.
A man in his 50s was arrested at the scene.
A firearm and knife were seized, alongside €30,000 of suspected cocaine, which is currently being analysed.
Gardaí also note a small quantity of Zopiclone tablets, and "a number of items of evidential value" were found.
The man is due to appear before Tallaght District Court at 10.30am.
