Luke Ming Flanagan has defended challenging a Minister in the Dáíl chamber to drink a jar of what he called "glorified piss".
The Roscommon TD made the challenge during the debate on the water services bill.
He produced what he said was a jar of poisonous water and took it over to junior minister Fergus O'Dowd.
The Ceann Comhairle called it an "act of vandalism" and took it to the committee that governs TDs.
