The Luas red line will fully re-open from Sunday morning.
It's been shut between Abbey Street and the Point for cross city works, which are ongoing to connect the Red and Green lines.
There will be 13 new stops along the new route, and it will take 21 minutes to travel from St Stephens Green to Cabra.

Separately, City Councillors have backed a call for all new Luas trams to be able to drive themselves.
It follows a number of strikes and stoppages by drivers during their fight for a pay-rise earlier this year.
Fine Gael Councillor Dr Paddy Smyth put forward the idea of self-driving software, and said he wants to ensure that "in the future we can move to a point where out trams can essentially drive themselves".
Self-driving public transport is already in operation in places like London, San Francisco, China and Greece.
