Locals in Marino are divided over proposed plans for a housing development on Griffith Avenue.
Should it get the go ahead- it will be made up of 7 blocks of 377 apartments and 8 houses. It's been met with some opposition mainly because some of the apartment blocks will be up to 8 stories high.
There were mixed views at a public meeting on the issue last night. One resident says the apartments are being 'built like tower blocks are not catering for families or elderly people.'
Another resident said considering the current housing crisis so as long as it's a 'responsible high quality development' she will support it.
