Leaving Cert students can register for calculated grades this morning.

The students, who are willing to participate, will be asked which level they are choosing.

The calculated grades are replacing the Leaving Cert which is cancelled because of the pandemic.

All Leaving Certificate and Leaving Certificate Applied students are required to register on gov.ie/leavingcertificate before 10pm this Thursday, May 28th.

Students must have the following information to hand;

  • Their Examination Number
  • Their Personal Public Service number (PPS), which they will use to create a four-digit Personal Identification Number
  • Email address
  • Mobile phone number

Education Minister Joe McHugh is urging students to register as soon as they can;

"Please don’t leave it until the last minute. This is a tight timeframe. We need every student to register so that the new system can operate smoothly."
