There are reports of a 113 per-cent surge in inquiries for Midlands hotels following on from Kanye West and Kim Kardashian's recent visit to Ireland.
It seems the Kimye effect works as hotel site Booking.com revealed yesterday that it has seen an increase in searches for the idyllic town after the pair tweeted about how great their honeymoon was.
Failte Ireland's Alex Connolly said they spent part of their lavish honeymoon in Ballyfin Demense in Co. Laois which has put us on the map.
