Ketamine with an estimated value of over €332,000 has been seized at Dublin Airport.
5.5 kilos of the drug was discovered in baggage on a flight due to depart to the US.
Revenue officers say investigations are ongoing.
A revenue spokesperson says: "Yesterday (07/11/2023), as part of an intelligence-led operation, Revenue officers seized approximately 5.5 kgs of ketamine with an estimated value of over €332,000 at Dublin Airport.
"This seizure is part of Revenue's ongoing operations targeting the importation of illegal drugs. If businesses, or members of the public, have any information regarding smuggling, they can contact Revenue in confidence on 1800 295 295."
