Time Is Running Out
However it's still not clear if Kanye is actually serious about going forward as a presidential nominee.
The election will take place on November 3rd, which gives the rapper just shy of four months.
According to the elections website Ballotpedia there are four other notable candidates in this year's election.
President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden, who served under Barack Obama are the Republican and Democratic Party candidates respectively.
Also, Libertarian Jo Jorgensen and the Green Party's Howie Hawkins will run.
