Convicted drug dealer John Gilligan is continuing to receive treatment following a shooting in Clondalkin last night.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses after he was shot in West Dublin at around 7pm.
It's believed he was shot a number of times at his brother's house in Greensfort Crescent in Clondalkin while attending a family gathering.
He was rushed to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown where the 61 year-old underwent emergency surgery.
