Michael Fassbender has been nominated for a BAFTA for his role in the movie '12 years a slave'.

The Kerryman is nominated alongside Bradley Cooper and Matt Damon.

Gravity secured the most nominations - it's up for 11 awards.

And Philomena in with a chance of winning in the Best Film category.

Nominations were announced at a ceremony in London a short time ago by Welsh actor Luke Evans:
