Irish school children are among the highest cocaine and cannabis users in the EU.
According to a survey of 30 countries, 3 percent of Irish 15 and 16 year olds have tried cocaine while almost 1 in 5 has taken cannabis.
Another 2 percent has tried ecstasy.
Irish under 35s are the third highest cocaine abusers behind Spain and the UK.
