The Chief Medical Officer says Ireland now has the fastest growing Covid-19 incidence rate in the European Union.
It's after 922 additional cases were reported today, with 8 more deaths.
337 of those cases are in Dublin, with 73 in Cork, 70 in Limerick, 56 in Wexford and 43 in Galway.
While the remaining 343 cases are spread across all other counties.
There were 255 patients with the disease in hospital this morning, of which 22 are in ICU.
37 more people have been admitted to hospital in the last 24 hours.

CMO Issues Stark Warning About Transmission
Dr. Tony Holohan is appealing to people to follow public health advice this Christmas.
He's also warned that Ireland's incidence rate is growing faster than any of our European Neighbours.
