A full investigation is being demanded into the huge number of deaths at mother and baby homes run by religious orders.
The remains of up to 800 newborns have been found buried inside a tank next to a Galway care home, run by the Bon Secours nuns up till the 60s.
Susan Lohan - Co-founder of Adoption Rights Alliance - says there are also claims that babies who were unlikely to ever be adopted overseas were not properly cared for.
