The Government is not expected to make a decision on easing air travel restrictions by July 1st.
The Aviation Recovery Task Force is recommending that the 14 day quarantine period is scrapped by next Wednesday.
The National Public Health Emergency Team and Cabinet will note the first interim report from the group tomorrow.
However sources say time will be needed to carefully consider the recommendations.
Aviation Task Force Has A Lack Of Medical Input
Representative from airlines, airports, aircraft leasing companies and the tourism sector make up the Task Force.
While immunologist Professor Kingston Mills says he is concerned at that make up.
"A conspicuous absence of medical and scientific experts."
So he added, "You know, it's not surprising that they came up with the recommendation they came up with."
"This is nonsense."
"How can you say they you're going to rely on this group for advice on what to do in terms of air travel."
Finally, Kingston Mills was keen to see a medical response to this: "There has to be medical and scientific input into this."
