The actor took to Twitter this evening to confirm the news.
He said he's currently feeling OK and not experiencing any symptoms.

In a video alongside his wife Sabrina, Elba revealed he came into close proximity with someone who had the virus on Friday.
He has been in self-isolation ever since and this morning found out he has also tested positive.
Elba is urging people to wash their hands and maintain social distancing.
