The iconic Olympia Theatre in Dublin could soon have a new identity.
A planning application for new signage submitted by the owners suggests a sponsor's name is to be included in the title.
Dublin's Olympia Theatre on Dame Street started out as The Star of Erin Music Hall in 1879 and went through a few name changes before it was finally designated its present day title in 1923.
But after almost 100 years the iconic theatre could soon be set for another name change.

According to the Sunday Times, The planning application says that the owner plans to "invest substantially" in the theatre, saying the signage is "part of the overall strategy of providing an additional and sustainable income stream.
