Dubliners are being urged not to take part in the traditional Christmas sea swim this year.
The HSE, Gardai and Dun Laoghaire County Council have urged people not to visit places such as the 40 Foot, Sandycove and Seapoint.
They are traditionally very busy around the 25th and 26th of December, with crowds of all ages gathered to go for a dip.
However authorities are asking swimmers not to take part this year, as it poses a risk of Covid-19 transmission.
