Temple Street Children's Hospital is upping security in preparation for the One Directions concerts this weekend.
The hospital is also due to hold a meeting about implementing an emergency contingency plan.
Temple Street Hospital is recruiting extra security staff and back up plans are in progress in the event of a large volume of Emergency Department traffic over the weekend.
The extra precautions are being taken to ensure that the hospital, which is a short distance from Croke Park, is prepared for all situations given the thousands of children and teenagers due to attend the concerts.
Promoters MCD have already warned that strict restrictions will be in place at the stadium.
