The Taoiseach has confirmed that a suspicious package sent to the home of the Justice Minister contained anti Semitic material and a harmless substance.
The bomb squad was called to the scene in south Dublin this morning.
The bomb squad was alerted to this incident at 9:55am.
The package was examined at Alan Shatters home and was found to contain anti-Semitic material and a powder which turned out to be harmless.
The area was declared safe at 10:45am with the Defence Forces confirming it a hoax.

Minister Shatter has been under increased pressure of late and last night said that he's being treated as public enemy number one.
The Taoseach added that similar anti-semitic material have been sent to the Justice Department.
