Twitter is eight years old today and the social media site is launching a new feature to mark the anniversary.
'First-tweet' will allow users to look up their very first post to the site by typing in their @username.
The micro-blogging facility first started in 2006 allowing people to express their views in 140-characters.
Adrian Weckler, Technology editor with the Irish Independent says he believes Twitter will be around for many years to come.
