If you're worried your boyfriend wants you to become more like his mum, then you're not alone.
New research to mark Mother's Day shows over a quarter of people think men want a partner more like their mother.
The latest stats come from a survey carried out by gift card company, One4All - which claims Irish men want someone like their mammy, because they want to be looked after.
Half of Irish people also still turn to their mums for advice, with 15% saying they trust her opinion.
Aoife Davey of One4All says it's because Irish mammies are "straight talking women" who have a "no nonsense approach" to giving advice.
