Gardaí have seized guns and ammunition on the west side of the city.
Officers made the discovery when they stopped and searched a car in the Clonsilla areas shortly after 7 o'clock yesterday evening.
They arrested two men aged 20's and 30's.
Gardaí made this seizure as part of ongoing operations targeting organised crime in the West Dublin area.
All of the items seized will be forwarded to the Garda Technical Bureau for forensic and ballistic testing.
Investigations are ongoing.
