Two people have been arrested and charged in connection with a recent robbery from a business in Dublin 7.
A gun and ammunition were also seized in this morning's operation.
A man in his 20s is due before the Criminal Courts of Justice this afternoon, while a teenage boy is due before the Children's Court.
A garda spokesperson says: "Gardaí investigating a recent robbery from an establishment in the Dublin 7 area have this morning, Friday 7th February 2025, arrested two males.
"The males (20s and juvenile) were detained at a Garda station in the Dublin Metropolitan Region under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
"In the course of this morning's arrest operation, a suspected firearm and ammunition was seized.
"The firearm will now be sent on to the Ballistics Section of the Garda Technical Bureau to undergo full analysis.
"Both males have since been charged and are expected to appear before the courts this afternoon. The male in his 20s is scheduled to appear before Criminal Courts of Justice (Court No.2) at 4:30pm. The juvenile male is scheduled to appear before Dublin District Children's Court at 4:00pm.
"Investigations are ongoing."
